This week is one of those weeks! My office is clean, my papers are filed and I actually had the druthers about me to marinade my steak for 24 hours before cooking.
If you love asian flavours, this is the steak for you! I love the salty taste of soy and the flavours of ginger. And to make it even better, 8 minutes on the grill and you have a steak cooked to perfection!
This does look good and I really like all of the ingredients in the marinade. The nutmeg is an interesting addition for an Asian dish.
ReplyDeleteGlad you have all of your ducks in a row!
Saved this to my favorites. I love the asian flavors. This looks cooked perfectly. Compliments to the griller!
ReplyDeleteKatherine - you couldn't taste the nutmeg at all - disappointing because I love nutmeg.
ReplyDeleteDonna - S gets those kudos...I usually lose an eyebrow when I light the bbq.
Cathy,
ReplyDeleteWOW!! The flavors sound incredible. Amazing photos. The steak just jumps out at you! YUMMY!
Flank steak totally needs marinating in something acidic. I've seen so many good flank steak recipes lately...I should totally get some!
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful! I love the flavor combo!
ReplyDeleteWOW, I am a meat person, this steak looks fabulous...yummie! I can almost taste it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ginger/Delectable!
ReplyDeleteWandering - I love flank steak. I make a rolled flank stuffed with cheese, ham and bread stuffing that's out of this world.
Juliana - I never used to be a meat person but the older I get the more I crave a nicely grilled steak!
This looks great, I love flank steak! In fact, I grilled some up on Sunday :)
