Quick supper part 4,124

It's amazing how quickly the work day can get away from you. At 7 a.m. you fully expect to get through your to do list by the end of the day. At noon you think, yeah, it's doable. By 3 p.m., you are panicking and by 6 you are an hour late leaving work. And you still aren't in your car until 6:30. It's month end and I should not be surprised at all by this...it happens every month. And every month this chain of events happens and I am totally awe struck at how quickly my days get away from it.

On a side note, I got my birthday present today. I told S what I wanted and he dutifully obliged (a full 4 days early). I have resisted for so long...months actually......I just didn't want to get one. I already feel too connected to my life, but I now own a blackberry. Everything at my finger tips - right down to it saying the weather in Calgary on the screen of my phone (sunny and +4 by the way...snow is finally melted). And the best part...a built in GPS...so now S will be able to tell what shoe store I'm haunting in Calgary ;)

Tonight's dinner was a cheese steak sandwich...and wine with the neighbors. Please note the burnt bread...I was distracted by the blackberry.

Most people know how to make a cheese steak - cut up steak, green peppers, onions and cheese. I always add worcestershire (spelling??) sauce to the steak when it's cooking. It just makes the flavours pop that much more.

  1. Looks pretty good to me!

Worcestershire I believe is the correct spelling (I've been there!).
