On a side note, I got my birthday present today. I told S what I wanted and he dutifully obliged (a full 4 days early). I have resisted for so long...months actually......I just didn't want to get one. I already feel too connected to my life, but I now own a blackberry. Everything at my finger tips - right down to it saying the weather in Calgary on the screen of my phone (sunny and +4 by the way...snow is finally melted). And the best part...a built in GPS...so now S will be able to tell what shoe store I'm haunting in Calgary ;)
Tonight's dinner was a cheese steak sandwich...and wine with the neighbors. Please note the burnt bread...I was distracted by the blackberry.
Most people know how to make a cheese steak - cut up steak, green peppers, onions and cheese. I always add worcestershire (spelling??) sauce to the steak when it's cooking. It just makes the flavours pop that much more.
Looks pretty good to me!
ReplyDeleteWorcestershire I believe is the correct spelling (I've been there!).
Thank you - I was really just too lazy to go downstairs to check it.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite sandwiches. Looks fantastic, I am a peppers girl all the way!
ReplyDeleteI adore peppers....I snack on them all day long.
ReplyDeleteI love Philly Sandwiches! I personally like my bread a little burned! :0)
ReplyDeleteI love the muffin pan for meatloaf! Hmmm. I will have to try it!

ReplyDeleteactually, if you were cooking this for me, I'd REQUEST you to burn my bread a little. I loved the charred taste! am I crazy?
ReplyDeleteit's always the blackberry or the iphone...have fun with it!
ReplyDeleteI got a new phone for christmas that has wireless capabilities. My guy is threatening to disconnect the wireless now. At least i have all the offline functions.
ReplyDeleteI love making sandwiches for dinner, they're cheap and easy and my husband always loves them!
ReplyDeleteI love a good steak sammie - a great quickie dinner - and it's all about the worcestershire - steak and onion's best friend.
