enchiladas and sauce

This is the year I'm trying to make everything from scratch. I had a Tyler Florence recipe for enchiladas on the go and needed enchilada sauce. This is not an easy task in Canada let me tell you. It's rarely found canned like in the US.

So here's a picture of the homemade stuff. OMG - this stuff was great! I will never bemoan the fact that I can't find it anywhere ever again!

And the enchiladas were amazing. Donna at My Tasty Treasures was very correct on how awesome Tyler Florence's recipes are! Be warned this recipe makes 2 large pans so either halve it or have people over to enjoy with you!

  4. Homemade enchilada sauce? That looks so yummy! From how Donna describes Tyler, I thought he was just another pretty....um, face, but I will need to take a closer look at some of his books now.
