After reading
Joie de Vivre's blog post about these bars, I knew I had to try them. I looooooooooove peanut butter cups. Really, if there was no other chocolate ever made except peanut butter cups I'd be happy with that.
These are a snap to make. My pictures do not do it justice.

I've had 2 now since they were made. And then some idiot (me), took a bet with my boss to lose 10% of our body weight by June 26th when I go on holidays. Now I will just look longingly at these little bars while Shawn and the neighbor husband eat them.
And I'll put a package on my bosses desk for him tomorrow morning to kick off our challenge ;)
You can find the recipe

5 star yum factor!! Will be making these for my kiddos! And maybe as soon as tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI remember that post and I have the recipe bookmarked! They look sooooooooo gooooooood!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out Cathy. I agree, they tasted way better than they looked. My pic was bad too! Plus, I was really good with half of the pan, then the second half I scarfed in a few days! I know what you mean about them being cruel to your waistline. Good luck with your weight loss competition. Thanks also for your well wishes. I am feeling better today.
ReplyDeleteBoth Shawn and the neighbor husband were big fans of these. Apparently they tasted like something other than a peanut butter cup to the neighbor, but I can't remember the name of what he said. There's half a pan left...I brought some into my boss's office. They are sitting on top of the scale he needs to weigh himself with this morning ;)
ReplyDeleteOoooh. If I ever get a kitchen again, this will be one of the first things I make!
